Welcome to Karen Heritage Design, an interior design and styling studio creating welcoming spaces and thoughtful experiences that bring people together.
As a collaborative partner working closely with like-minded architects, property developers, kitchen studios and designers, I help shape cohesive interiors and considered brand-led moments for people to gather and connect.

My design philosophy is grounded in connection and creating a more intentional way of living. Every interior design project is approached with care to ensure spaces feel considered, timeless and reflective of the people who use them. Each event and experience is thoughtfully curated to encourage meaningful connections and lasting relationships.
Sustainability is at the core of what I do; focusing on quality craftsmanship designed for longevity and using materials, textures and organic elements to provide a connection to nature. I also consider other sustainable practices throughout my design process and business operations to create interiors and experiences that are both beautiful and responsible.

About
Karen Heritage is a qualified interior designer with a background in the antiques trade, retail and business management.
Originally from New Zealand, I arrived in the UK in 1999 to immerse myself in the history, architecture and British culture. My family and I are now settled in our Victorian cottage in Hampshire and spend as much time as we can at our 18th century French farmhouse in rural Normandy. Surrounding myself in a relaxing environment where I can gather with family and friends has been instrumental in feeling at home, and is a keystone to how I design and work for clients.
I approach every project with an intuitive eye and an appreciation for the details that make a space and experience feel truly considered. Collaboration is at the heart of how I work, I value open communication and believe every process should feel clear, supportive and free from hidden surprises. With trusted relationships across suppliers and industry professionals, I’m able to guide each project seamlessly, creating spaces and experiences that feel intentional, cohesive and thoughtfully curated.
